The Prince Edward Island College of Occupational Therapists is a governing body responsible for regulating the practice of occupational therapy in Prince Edward Island.
Our role is to ensure the safe, ethical, and competent practice of occupational therapy. All occupational therapists who practice in Prince Edward Island must be registered members of the College.
Occupational therapists looking to register
The College maintains an online registration system (Human Management System - HMS). All members of the College must have an HMS account.
Occupational therapists may register with PEICOT as:
- New applicants - general registration for OTs educated in Canada, including new graduates
- Applicants under LMSA - general registration for OTs already registered in other Canadian jurisdiction(s)
- Internationally educated OTs - general registration for OTs educated outside Canada
- Temporary applicants - temporary (special) registration for OTs already registered in other Canadian jurisdiction(s)
