Registering with the PEI College of Occupational Therapists: Renewals

To renew your annual registration with the College, log into the online registration system and follow the instructions on screen.

Make sure to update your information including practice hours (a minimum of 600 hours in 3 years is required) and employment situation, and upload the following:

  1. certificate of liability insurance
  2. proof of continuing education - see Continuing Education Hours policy in the Members Only section under Policies
  3. proof that an applicant has not been found guilty of an offense that renders them unsuitable to practice in a regulated health profession – completion of Criminal Records Check every 5 years and declaration on annual renewal form that they have committed no offenses. Criminal Records Check policies can be found in Members Only section under Policies.

Submit the appropriate payment.

If you have changed your name since your registration or last renewal, please mail the following directly to the registrar (see address below):

  • Appropriate documentation of proof there has been a legal change in name (copy of marriage certificate, etc).
